Austrian Scotch-museum
Through Austrian radio-station “Ö3” Thomas requested decoration-material for his museum, so H.E. the Grand Master promptly called the station by phone, gave a short interview about the goals and works of our “St. Andrew-Association” and could arrange a lot of materials next day. Walkers Shortbread Ltd.generously did not send only posters, barkeeper’s aprons etc, but also a great package of different kinds of shortbread. Tins and informations also kindly sent Morrison Bowmore Distillers Ltd. And The Scottish Tourist Board (we received so much things, that we could give also a lot for the club-rooms of “The First Leiblach Valley Pipes and Drums” and of “The Gordon Highlanders of Austria” and at last also to the “Scottish Corner” of the “Waldviertler Roggenhof” (Austria’s first and only whisky-distillery) – best thanks to all donators! Fortunately we also could help with a lot of posters, good colour-copies of artworks etc. from our archives.

Come and see!
On St. Andrew’s day 2001 a group of Scotch- and Scotlandfans will visit the museum in Lüftenberg (near Linz, the capital of Upper Austria) under “command” of H.E. the Grand Master. In relation to this visit Thomas Neuhauser will offically receive his diploma as Companion (CoSA) of the order and membership-diploma of the distinguished “International Order of Scotch single malt Whisky Connoisseurs”, founded by our Chevalier Dr.David “The Scotch Doc” McCoy HCSA.

The museum’s badge has been designed by H.E. the Grand Master, an heraldic expert since 25 years, the final drawing realized the order’s King of Arms, Chev. Hans Peter Raith GCSA, who also registrates the badge in volume II of his “Raith’s Roll of Arms”.
